When entering the "Performance Rock" facilities conveniently located in central Tel Aviv and open 7 days a week, you will immediately notice it is not simply a climbing wall. Rather, Performance Rock boasts a 360 degree climbing room and jungle gym with dozens of routes and difficulty levels for all types of climbers.

There are a range of activities to suit everyone from children to adults. Beginners with no climbing experience are offered optional courses and will be able to catch on relatively quickly and excel, yet the most active adventurer will be challenged and maybe even feel a bit sore (the good sore) the next day.

The wall itself is 4.5 metres high, which allows people to climb to the side as well as up, and caters to those who are afraid of heights but who are interested in the sport of rock climbing.

 Upon arrival, the staff at "Performance Rock" will show you the map of the room indicating the locations of the various difficulty levels. If the map seems a little confusing, the staff are on hand to assist then they are not climbing the wall the themselves, or you can simply ask one of your fellow climbers and they will be sure to show you the way up.

 Dress comfortably and in old clothes because you will most certainly get dusty. Climbing shoes are provided by the centre and they are an adventure in themselves, given they are worn by a number of other people and are little grungy and grimy. Once you are fully equipped, you are set to start climbing.

 Peformance Rock in Tel Aviv is a fun place to train with friends and have an adventurous work out, however, it can also be the perfect venue for an unusual date experience. Either way, climbing at the Performance Rock complex, will have you hanging and dangling, climbing and swinging, so much you will feel like Spiderman.
